Artist's Challenge II: Death
Journal Entry: Wed Mar 18, 2009, 1:55 AM
Last year I presented my fellow deviants with a challenge. I asked "What would you have for your loved ones?" & I received overwhelmingly beautiful responses.
You can check them out in my collection --> [link]
Now, dear deviants, I ask you to reach into your artistic sides once more to answer another question.
How do you view death?
Poems, prose, photography, traditional art, digital art -- use whatever comes to mind to tell me about death. Does it scare you? Is it evil? Will we, as a race, one day overcome it? Or is death just another part of the cycle of our planet? Does it have a personality? Is there something more than the expiration of our cells when we die?
Spend some time really processing how you feel about death, then do whatever it is you do to tell me about it.
The Death Challenge opens today, March 16th and will close in one month on April 16th. All submissions will be collected in my gallery and featured in a news article when the challenge is over. You may submit multiple works in multiple genres.
To submit, send me a note with a link to your entry. Please be aware that any entries sent via comment will not be added to the collection or news article.
Keep in mind that dA policies must be adhered to for this challenge.
Have fun and get artsy!
P.S. If you'd like to support this challenge, journal blurbs are most helpful!

Thank you!
